Schmiedecke / Gongage Family Reunion

It’s been 15 years since we tied the knot, and also that long since we have seen some of you. We are so excited to celebrate some amazing life moments and reunite the families. Thank you all so much for taking time and putting all the effort in to make this happen!

WHEN: November 3rd -6th, 2022

THURSDAY 11/3 - ARRIVAL DAY (We will be picking everyone up throughout the day so let us know your travel plans)

  • Get settled in and explore the site

  • Burger Cookout at the House/Venue

  • All family get together for info, fun, games, drinking, etc

FRIDAY- 11/4 - DAY TRIP

  • Casual breakfast bar at the Lodge (bagels with all the things, pastries, yogurt, cereal, etc)

  • We have two vans to take everyone on a day trip to local hot spots - Hiking, Eating, Drinking, Exploring

  • Back home for dinner, very casual and feel free to join or not. We will order some food to be delivered or people can go out and explore Asheville on their own as desired.

SATURDAY- 11/5 - VOW RENEWAL / TORBEN JOINING CEREMONY / RECEPTION DINNER

  • Big Family Breakfast at The Lodge- We will be cooking up the works to stuff everyone!

  • Get Ready - Take your time getting ready and having a free afternoon around the property- There are waterfalls, a short hiking trail, a hot tub, or porches with amazing views to sit and chill.

  • Ceremony begins at 4 at Ceremony Rock by The Lodge

  • Sit down dinner on the porch of The Lodge and festivities in The Barn

  • Late night snacks and fire pit drinks

Sunday - 11/6 - Travel Day

  • same as pick up, we will coordinate drop offs to the airport
